Exploring London // Day 3

Hello guys!
Sorry for the late post but here is finally the post about my last day in London. We started our day that we went to the Temple station and then we headed out to see the beautiful building called The Royal Courts of Justice. I really love these old Victorian Gothic buildings. Then we continued to the Fleet Street. This street became known for printing and publishing and most British national newspapers operated from here.

Next we went to see St. Paul's Cathedral. We didn't go inside because admission was high but it's beautiful from the outside as well. Then we went to see the Monument which is the Monument to the Great Fire of London. Next we continued to the Thames, we crossed the London Bridge and then we went to Borough Market.

I love this place although there were a lot of people that you couldn't even walk. But you can get literally anything there. Fruit, meat, fish, cheeses, seafood... We had some free time there and then we walked along the Thames to the Tate Gallery. We wanted to go inside but we didn't have much time so we just continued along the Thames. We crossed the Waterloo bridge and we headed out to Covent Garden. We also saw Somerset House where the Fashion Weeks takes place.

Covent Garden is an amazing place, there are restaurants, shops and sometimes some gigs. We wanted to have some food there but then we decided to go to Pret. I always wanted to go to Pret, I know it's on every corner but it's not here in the Czech Republic. So we had our lunch there and then we went to visit the National Gallery. I really can't tell you how amazing is it in there because you have to see it with your own eyes. If you love art I would definitely recommend going there.
We didn't have much time and we wanted to spend our last money so we had to go to Oxford Street. We bought some clothes and then we went back to the hotel.

In the morning, we had our breakfast, got some Costa and then we went to the Stratford Airport. We flew back home to our little town (around 400 thousand inhabitants).
To summarize it all, if you've never been to London, you definitely need to visit it. It's a beautiful place with lots of sights. The only downside of this city is a lot of people. Anyway, it is one of the most amazing cities I've ever been to and I really want to go back as soon as possible.
Post from day 1 and day 2.
