Favorite March products

Hello guys!
March is almost over so here is another favorite products! I have so many new things this month. I picked for you these 7 items which I want to talk about. Let's get started.

I got some discount coupons from Douglas and it included 2+1 free product from Clinique. I really wanted to use it just because Clinique products are not the cheapest. I decided to buy some new foundation, because my favorite Bourjois healthy mix is running out. I think that products from Clinique are very good quality and once I got a foundation tester I really wanted to try it. I have a very dry skin so I need a moisturizing foundation. Douglas makeup artist recommended me this Moisture Surge in shade 02 (I think it's still dark for me but they didn't have a lighter shade). Actually, this is not foundation but tinted moisturizer but the coverage is pretty good. It also has SPF 15 which is good for summer, especially for me because my skin is very sensitive and will burn quickly in the sun. I also like the smell of it, it smells like my sunscreen. So if you have dry skin I would really recommend it.

The next item I'm going to show you is also for dry skin. It is this Satin makeup base from Dermacol. I used so many primers but I couldn't find the right one for me. I have The Porefessional primer from Benefit, it is probably the best primer I've had but it's very expensive and I think it's more for oily skin. Then I used some primers from Rimmel with the cream composition but it wasn't right for me. My makeup didn't last all day and it was too heavy for my skin. I read a few tips for some good primer for dry skin and this Satin base had a good reviews so I decided to try it. And it's really amazing! It's so light and easy to apply. Your skin is really like satin after this. My makeup also last much longer and it doesn't dry out my skin.

I can't forget to mention this Velvet Stick Matt Lip color from Essence. I saw it in a drugstore and I liked the color so I just bought it. I thought that it would be more like brown-pink color but it is more like purple-pink color. I don't mind because it looks nice on your lips. The only disadvantage is that this Velvet Stick is too dry. I have a dry lips and it dries out my lips even more. But I think if you put some lip balm under it, it's gonna be alright.

I think you can't create a perfect smoky eyes without a good blending brush. I was doing my eyeshadows with my BH cosmetics brush, but I think it's not directly on it. So I got this Makeup Revolution Pro Blending Brush no. E103. I think this brush does a good job but the disadvantage is that the bristles are very coarse. When you use it on your eyes it is uncomfortable. It blends your eyeshadows well but I prefer something with softer bristles. I have a brush from Makeup Revolution for contouring and the bristles aren't so coarse. So maybe it is the only brush which has the bristles like that...

This is my favorite nail polish of all the time. I love Chanel and everything from it. This is Le Vernis Nail Colour 533 April. Oh my God, I love the shade so much. I think that every shade from Chanel is amazing but this is just number one. I had to have it and it was on sale! Who could resist? I definitely plan to buy more shades. This nail polish is also very pigmented, so one layer is enough. It also lasts so much longer than some drugstore nail polish. And the packaging is just amazing!

The next item on the list is this amazing higlighter. It is Lost in Galaxy from Douglas. I read about it in a magazine and then I went to Douglas to try it. I tried it and I had to buy it! Pigmentation is great, it reminds me Copacabana Illuminator from Nars (I need to try it as well). Just one layer and you get a beautiful highlighting, then you just blend it with your fingers or brush. And it's also very cheap for that quality!

The last item is for hair. I read about it in a magazine as well and I decided to try it. It's Toni&Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray. It is a spray that creates natural waves. Just spray it on your hair and using your hands create natural waves. It looks very cool and a bit messy but I really like that style. It's also very quick and easy when you don't have much time to do your hair. You can also use a curling iron to create waves and then spray it into your hair to make it look more natural.

Favorite February products

Hello guys!
February is almost over so I prepared for you another favorite products. I have so many new things this month that I didn't know what to choose. I picked up these 8 products which were probably my favorite of all. Take a look.

I'll start with this Makeup Revolution Pressed Powder which is from their new collection. This is a transparent color, I always wanted some transparent powder but I saw many white colors and I didn't want to look too white. What I love about this powder is that it isn't white. It is very light nude color. It looks beautiful on your skin and I think it is for every type of skin. What is not so good is that your skin won't last long matte. If you have oily skin I think this powder is not right for you. I have dry skin so it is sufficient for me. I also like the system of opening to the side.

The next favorite item is this Fix & Protect Makeup Primer from Rimmel. I used Lasting finish primer before, and I have to say this primer is very similar, it is a bit thinner so it's better for my skin because I need more oily products for my skin. The primer I used before was too solid, it was better for oily skin. Your makeup will last long, I work 12 hours and it still looks good at the end of the day. It also smells good unlike the previous one.

I have to show you my new Beauty Blender. It is original beauty blender. I always wanted to buy it but it was too expensive. But I finally bought it and I'm glad I did. It is very soft and flexible unlike my beauty blender from Ebelin. I'm not saying it is not good but compared with this one it is a big difference. Beauty blender from Ebelin is too tough and absorbs too much water. The original one absorbs water as much as is needed. I have to say, sometimes I didn't use it wet but it's so much better when I tried it. Maybe I will do some special posts just about the difference between beauty blenders.

Oral hygiene is very important. Important is also exchange your toothbrush often. I usually changed it every six months. I love to use this Curaprox toothbrush. This is ultra soft no. 5460. They also have super soft and soft. I also like the large range of colors. It's super cool when you can choose your favorite color of your brush. They also have some special edition for Valentine's day, when you can buy two brushes with a heart on the bristles. I would definitely recommend it.

Another product is this eyebrow pencil from Essence. I had this pencil before and I'm satisfied with it. The color is great, I use the lightest one, it is in color blonde. It will last all day and it is easy to work with it. It also has a little brush on the cover which is also useful. This eyebrow pencil is also very cheap but the quality is awesome.

I always have a big problem with mascaras. It's so hard to find the perfect mascara and I probably don't believe that there is a perfect mascara. But I found a very good mascara. It is Roller Lash mascara from Benefit. I think that Benefit is one of the best cosmetic brands. They have amazing quality products. I love the brush of this mascara. It divides your lashes perfectly, but it won't curl your lashes much. I have only a small version of it but maybe I will buy a big one or maybe I'll be looking for the perfect mascara.

I didn't use any lip pencil before. But it makes a big difference to your lips. It will make them so much bigger and fuller. I bought this Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lipliner in 047 Cappuccino and I absolutely love this color! I always wanted some color like this and now I finally have it! I saw it on one blogger and it looked amazing that I had to buy it. I went to a drugstore but it was sold out but fortunately it was in another drugstore. I definitely need more colors!

The last item is this Matte XXXL Longlasting lipgloss from Essence. This is number 06 Soft Nude. To be honest this is my first liquid lipstick. I love the color of it! It's absolutely amazing, I didn't see this color anywhere. It fits perfectly to my lip pencil. It also smells good, but the only disadvantage is that it won't last more than an hour. When you eat something, it doesn't last at all. The color just disappears. It such a shame, I love this color. So you just have to redo it every hour. By the way, I was looking for an alternative to Lipkit by Kylie. I hope I will get it someday.

This is my final look! I'm using Rimmel Fix & Protect makeup primer, Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation, Astor Perfect Stay concealer, Makeup Revolution Pressed Powder, Makeup Revolution contour kit, Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palette, Benefit Roller Lash mascara, Essence eyebrow pencil, The Balm highlighter, Rimmel lip pencil and Essence lipglose.

Sculpt and Blend 2 // BH Cosmetics

Hello guys!
I had this post in my mind since Christmas. I got this Sculpt and Blend 2 from BH Cosmetics for Christmas and I was so excited to have a chance to finally try it. It came in this nice box, so you can keep your brushes in there. I never had a set of brushes, I always had a few brushes of different brands. I wanted a brush set that is of high quality. I think it's important to invest in quality brushes. Your makeup will look different with a good brushes. When I talk about investment, these brushes are not expensive. I think they were about 20 dollars and 40 with the postage (I ordered it from the US, so it was a little more expensive but if you live in the US, you will pay something around 5 dollars). Now I'm going to show you how to use all of these brushes. but I'm not saying you can't use it for anything else. You can use it for anything you want, this post is just for an inspiration or in case that you really don't know how to use them. I'm also about to buy Sculpt and Blend 1 which is the first edition.
Also I did My Makeup Routine so if you haven't seen it and you are interested in it, check it out.
I will link this brush set down below, so read the post and enjoy!

STEP 1 - Applying concealer - no. 130
I have my Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer and Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation done (I didn't show it because I apply my foundation with another brush - stipple brush from e.l.f. cosmetics), so now it's time to apply my concealer. I use my Makeup Revolution Protection palette which conteins three different concealers. I use the lightest one and I apply it with this flat brush no. 130. I apply it under my eyes, nose, chin and forehead, places that I want to brighten. This brush is good when you use solid concealers but you can also use liquid concealer and just smear it with this brush. I prefer blend it with my beauty blender but it's only up to you. You can also use it for applying your eye primer or liquid eye shadows.

STEP 2 - Contouring - no. 127
The next step is my favorite part. It's contouring! I use this amazing product, it's LA Girl Pro Concealer, yes it's concealer but very dark, so I use it as a contour product. I wanted some contour brush like this for a long time. I have my old one from Makeup Revolution but it is only for solid bronzer and I wanted some brush for the liquid one. And this amazing set had it! It was one of the reasons why I wanted it. This brush is also skewed which is a big plus terms contouring. So I apply this dark concealer under my cheekbones, on my forehead, nose and a little bit under my lower lip. Then I blend it all in with my beauty blender.

STEP 3 - Contouring your nose - no. 131
This is a very special brush. When I first saw it, I really didn't know how to use it. Then I saw the video and some blogger use it for contouring her nose. I think it's very interesting. You creat a perfect shape of your nose. Just make the "V" with it and then just blend it out. You can also use the edges of the brush and contour your nose to the sides. I think it's very handy. You can use a liquid dark concealer (as in step 3) or you can use a bronzer. This is also from my Protection palette from Makeup Revolution.

STEP 4 - Powdering - no. 124
Now just powder your face with this brush no. 124. It is the largest brush so it's obvious that it's for the powder. I use my Protection palette again. I love this palette, it has everything you need. Light powder to brighten your face, three concealers, bronzer, blush and highlighter.

STEP 5 - Thorough powdering - no. 128
This brush no. 128 can be used in many ways. You can use it for powdering the places where a big brush will not get, for your eyeshadows (but I think it's too big for it), for blending your concealer or applying your highlighter. I prefer use it for powdering the places under my eyes and my nose. It comes in handy when you need to repowder your under eye area. I use the same powder again.

STEP 6 - Contouring with bronzer - no. 126
Just refresh your contours with bronzer. I think this brush no. 126 is perfect for it. It's a bit flatter to facilitate the application. I use again my favorite Protection palette from Makeup Revolution, there is a beautiful bronzer, I really love the color of it and I don't want to change it. So I use it for applying bronzer under my cheekbones, forehaed and a bit on my sides of my nose.

STEP 7 - Highlighting - no. 125
Let's highlight your face! This is also my favorite part of doing my makeup. I really like how it looks on the light. It also looks amazing in the photos. I'm really not saving up with it. I use my new Mary-Lou Manizer from The Balm, I got it for Christmas and I just love it! It's extremly pigmented so you don't have to give a large layer. I apply it with this brush no. 125 but I think you can also use no. 126 or 128. It's only up to you. I apply it on my cheekbones, nose and chin but you can also use it as an eyeshadows or under your eyebrows.

STEP 8 - Applying blush - no. 123
I normally don't use the blush, but when I have this amazing brush I started to use it. This flat brush no. 123 is just amazing! You can also apply the powder or foundation with it, but I think it's perfect for a blush as well. As I said, I don't use a blush much so maybe I will try to apply my foundation with it. Also I can't forget to mention, my blush is from Protection palette (how else). I also did my eyebrows using my S-he brow pencil.

STEP 9 - Eyeshadows time - no. 129
I didn't have any blending brush for a long time. So I'm very happy I have this one. This brush is really a necessity to blend your eyeshadows well. I use my Sephora flat brush for applying my eyeshadow base and then I use this brush no. 129 for applying my shadow over my eyelid and just blend it. Eyeshadow palette I use is from Makeup Revolution and it's called Hard Day. I love the eyeshadows from this brand, they are very pigmented and when you have a good brushes you can create an amazing makeup look.

STEP 10 - Eyeshadows under your eyes - no. 132
This brush also can be used in many ways. You can use it as an eye liner brush, lip brush or use it for applying your eyeshadows under your eyes. I prefer the last tip. Skin around the eyes is very sensitive and the bristles of this brush are very fine (all brushes are very fine). So it does not irritate your surroundings around the eyes. I'm very happy for this brush. I use my old Sephora brush to apply the eyeshadows under my eyes but the bristles were not so fine.
Then just add your mascara, I use 2000 calorie from Max Factor and add your lipstick. This is Rimmel by Kate Moss no. 03.

The final result
So what do you think guys? I think this brush set is just amazing! I need to buy the first edition as soon as possible. You don't have to spend a lot of money for some very expensive brushes when you can have a lot of cheaper brushes with the same quality. If you have any question please let me know in the comments.

Favorite November products

Hello guys!
It's almost December! I can't believe how quickly time passes. So with that, I'm bringing to you another favorite products for November. Let's get started.

The first favorite thing I have here for you is this Bourjois Healthy mix foundation. This foundation was recommended by one blogger, so I decided to try it too. I really loved my Loreal True Match foundation but they changed the cover of it and I heard that they changed the composition as well and the coverage is not so great. So I got this Healthy Mix. I didn't know which shade to choose but at the end I went for No. 53 Light Beige.
If I had to compare these two foundation, I would say that True Match has a lower consistency against Healthy Mix. Also I think that True Match is better for my skin tone. Healthy Mix is better for oily skin I think but it can be used for dry skin as well. And what is better on Healthy Mix? It smells amazing! I really hate the smell of foundations but this is really amazing! It smells like fruit! This foundation also has a good coverage and it is easy to apply. I would recommend it.

I used my old makeup remover for 3 years I guess. So it was definitely time for change. I like oil-based makeup removers more than classic milky removers. I couldn't find the right one until I found this Biosource Balm-to-oil by Biotherm. It was also recommended by blogger so I was about to try it. It is amazing! It is perfect for my skin, I have a very dry skin so this oily cleanser and makeup remover is perfect for me. You can also remove your eye makeup with it.

The next item I mentioned before in Makeup Revolution obsession post. You can check it out. But it is my favorite item so I want to tell you about it again. I have a really bad eyebrows so it is hard to make it looks perfect. I got this Focus and fix eyebrow shaping kit from Makeup Revolution. This is my favorite brand and I always like trying new things. This kit contains 3 different brown colors and one fusing wax. It also contains tweezers, eyebrow brush and mirror. The colors are good pigmented so you can create beautiful brows. I got this kit in Light-Medium but it is also available in Medium-Dark.

The next favorite item is also from Makeup Revolution. It is this lip pencil with sharpener. I really love the color of it. It is shade Vamp and if you buy a lipstick in the same shade, it is amazing combination. This lipliner is very pigmented so you can fill in your lips with it. I also love the idea of sharpener in the lid. It is available in many colors.

My last thing from previous post is Focus and fix eye primer also from Makeup Revolution. When I work 12 hours I want to keep my eyeshadows in place. I really hate when I have a blurry eyeshadows. So I bought this eye primer. I tried it and I have to say it does a really good job. Your eyeshadows are in place all day. I really don't know how could I do it without it. It also has a nice color, this is in brighten version so it brightens your eyes nicely.

Next item is this Outrageous curl mascara from Sephora. I mentioned this mascara in my previous post (I think it was Favorite October products) and this mascara is amazing. But it has some disadvantage as well. This mascara is very wet and clumpy and it tends to blur. When you wear it all day, you can expect that it will be blurred under your eyes and over your eyelid. Otherwise, this mascara perfectly separates your eyelashes and makes them very long. I also love the small brush so it is so much easier to apply.

And my last favorite item is this Clinique Dramatically different moisturizing cream. I heard about this cream from one blogger and I just had to try it. As I said before, I have a very dry skin and this moisturizer is just perfect! It is such a shame that I haven't used it before. I think there are three different sizes of this cream. This is the smallest one, but I think it's enough for now. I just wanted to try it and maybe then I will buy a larger version.
